So you want to go to Kyoto, or maybe just Japan in general but haven't decided on where you'd like to go, here I will list my top 5 reasons why Kyoto is a good choice.

Why you should visit Kyoto

  1. Kyoto Prefectural Government has state that since the nuclear plant is over 310 miles(about 500 kilometers) away it does not believe there will be any effects on Kyoto Prefecture. This means you can rest safely while traveling there.
  2. Kyoto is a fun place full with many wonderful sights to see.
  3. You can meet interesting people in Kyoto, meeting new people is easier than you may think there are clubs for all sorts of stuff, and you can always meet people online, and then decide to go visit them. Often times people in Japan will want someone to help them learn a language, and most of the time this is made easier when you can speak in person so keep your options open.
  4. Artistic and Cultural history make Kyoto a divine place for people looking for these sorts of things. It was formerly the imperial capitol of Japan.
  5. In Kyoto you can try all kinds of cuisines including Asian, American, and European. Obviously you'd probably be more into trying something that was native to Japan, or at least different than things you have where you come from, but maybe you're a picky eater in which case you can keep eating what you love.
So there you have it my top 5 reasons for traveling to Kyoto I hope you'll stick around because later I'll be discussing more topics
